President of Armenian Center of PR Development Hayk Kirakosyan answered to Times.am correspondent’s questions.  For the first time ever you marked the international Day of PR in Armenia. What do you think, what will the event change in Armenian reality?  We will have one more nice tradition in our reality. And what will give this new tradition to Armenian society? People will understand that creating positive social opinion is not a personal advertisement, but a step in direction of making the world a little bit better. It is very important to know, that it is really becoming good when we simulate good things for a long period of time. It is same for all reasons of our life. It is said. "If you want to be lucky, behave you as lucky person would”. What you think, does our mass media promote creating of better society? It is very important question. Unfortunately many Armenian agencies are interested in publishing of sad or scandal news. But it is not a secret that anything, even the worse event can be interpreted in different way. And sometimes, but it would be better often, it is more useful to write about things in light of positive and good. But from the other hand there is an opinion that media is following to the social demand. I will agree with you, but it doesn’t mean that people are less impressive to the positive news. We must know that if we present good things in a boring way, people will be more interested in reading news about catastrophes. So we must think also about this case and promote creating a positive society. Can we say that this is mission of your organization? This is only one of missions of Armenian Center of PR Development. We are also working hard in spheres of politics, commercial and cultural PR.
